Welcome

Welcome to FibreTiger (https://www.fibretiger.co.za). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using FibreTiger, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

FibreTiger is operated by Tiger Connect (Pty) Ltd (Registration: 2019/233241/07), a private company registered in South Africa through the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).

Definitions

  • "FibreTiger", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Tiger Connect (Pty) Ltd, trading as FibreTiger.
  • "You", "your", "user" — refers to any person accessing or using this website.
  • "Services" — refers to the fibre, WiFi, LTE, streaming, and VPN comparison tools, coverage maps, articles, and all other content provided through this website.
  • "ISP" — Internet Service Provider.
  • "Third-Party Providers" — ISPs, network operators, streaming platforms, VPN services, and any other external providers whose products or services are listed on this website.

Nature of Our Service

FibreTiger is an independent comparison and information service. We aggregate publicly available pricing, package details, and coverage information from Third-Party Providers to help South African consumers make informed decisions.

We are not an ISP, network operator, or reseller. We do not sell, provision, or deliver internet, streaming, or VPN services. When you click through to a Third-Party Provider, you enter into a separate agreement with that provider, and their own terms and conditions apply.

Accuracy & Data Disclaimer

This is critically important — please read carefully:

  • All pricing, package details, speeds, promotions, coverage data, and other information displayed on FibreTiger is provided on a "best-effort" basis.
  • We source data from Third-Party Providers and publicly available information. Despite our best efforts to keep this data current and accurate, errors, omissions, and outdated information can and do occur.
  • Prices, packages, and promotions may change at any time without notice to us. Always verify current pricing and terms directly with the relevant ISP or provider before making any purchasing decision.
  • FibreTiger does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or timeliness of any information displayed on this website.
  • Coverage maps and availability checks are based on data from third-party sources and may not reflect real-time availability at your specific address.
  • Speed claims and performance metrics are based on provider-stated figures and may differ from actual experienced speeds due to network conditions, hardware, and other factors.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law (including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002):

  • FibreTiger shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on information provided on this website.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete pricing, package, or coverage information.
  • We are not liable for any issues arising from your contract or dealings with any Third-Party Provider, including but not limited to service quality, billing disputes, installation delays, or cancellation terms.
  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to FibreTiger (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
