OpenServe is part of Telkom and the fibre network with the biggest footprint in South Africa.
Openserve fibre coverage is available in most of the big metros in these provinces Cape Town, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban.
Being an
Open Access
fibre network means that OpenServe is not an ISP but only the fibre network. There are many fibre isps with excellent fibre deals on
the Openserve network.
Openserve installation times are usually within a week, but in some cases can take a day or two longer.
Compared to Vumatel, there are quite a number of fibre ISPs that have a FUP(fair usage policy) on their Openserve deals.
